This feature takes forever to delete all prior messages. I stopped using it, it's no where near as fast as the BBOS phones with this feature

It's actually significantly improved on 10.3+ but to each their own.

Been there since day one. 1st Feb 2013. You can do it to any date in the hub and apply actions to emails prior to that date.

Good find! I was actually wondering why BlackBerry hasn't implemented an option to mark all read on emails. Looks like they did! Why the hell aren't these things in the tutorials or something? Or are they there?

All the tips you will find in the forum can be found in the Help app. But the majority of user doesn't want the help from an app

Don't know if this has been posted before but hold your finger on the date in the Hub and it will select all messages.

Useful for deleting all messages for an account all at once.

Like say a build up of Facebook notifications since you first got your phone!

Why don't you just switch to your notifications view in the Hub?

    Posted via CB10
Dude! How does that even help? Notifications tab shows only system notifications or notifications from apps that don't yet support hub integration. You've got your act wrong!

The person said they marked all emails as ready when they had a notification they couldn't find the notification they were looking for implying it wasn't standing out. I pointed out all notifications should be visible in the Notifications view in the Hub, this negating then need to mark emails as read so it would stand out.

I'm not sure what "act" you think I have wrong, but I was trying another way to look at notifications.

I think the person you were referring too meant 'Notification' in the broader sense of the word, not the little Yellow Bell part of the Hub.

But what does it matter, either way they have now found an easier way to do things

I found this last night. Deleted a message and then accidentally hit 'u' and it highlighted the next unread message. Keep pressing 'u' and it will scroll to the next unread. Awesome.

I use this feature to mark all as read when i have a pesky notification that i can't find.
Pitch to zoom in your screen so you can filter unread notifications in the hub.

What is this "notifications view" you keep mentioning about? The notification tab in hub? Or pinch to show unread option?

Unfortunately this has also been the demise of many peoples HUBS. They've accidentally held the top date line and deleted their entire HUB. Every single message! It's harder to make the mistake now because of the prompts, but there didn't use to be prompts. I lost my entire HUB twice.
