Here's a little trick that might probably solve the battery problems you are having on the latest radio file .1926
All you need to do is "Full charge your battery and then remove the battery from your phone for 8 hours(you might wanna do this overnight) and then put it back."
Did this with my Z10(stl100-1) last night and here's what my device monitor says after some hours playing temple run, browsing through CB, a few phone calls and Internet browsing.
And I haven't recharged the battery as I still have 70% left with 1 days and 17 hours.

Interesting! I have the same model. I will definitely try this out.
Interesting screen shot.... I've seen a number of post with similar results. But from my personal experience, it isn't possible. I'd say there was something wrong with my Z10, but most people on CrackBerry say they are lucky to get through 6 - 10 hours.
Glad you are able to get those results with your setup.
I wonder how you can state "to solve the battery problems you are having on the latest radio file .1926" based on one single instance of a problem?
I also cannot see how disconnecting the battery for 8 hours should either resolve the root cause for the battery drain (bug in radio stack on .1926) or magically improve the capacity of the battery. Since you charged the battery before removing it, it is safe to say the capacity is not increased (no charging). It does not make any sense...

Well, it was just what I discovered. Have been charging my phone about 5 times since the radio file came up and just decided to remove the battery last night.
I guess removing the battery for a couple of hours allowed whatever it is that is going on the phone to cool down and settle, at least for me.
Edited the post to make it sound more like a probability. Hope that sounds okay.
This is interesting. May need to reload the 1926 radio and give this a try as I reverted back to 1899. This battery improved battery life instantly for me but good to know there is something to try for the 1926.
Anyone have issues where you charge the battery fully and power off, then when powering on you loose 10% right off the top? It is weird as I had 62% when powered off then when powered on it showed 52%. I also have a Mugen 3800mah battery. Ah well the weekend is here so may give this a shot.
The battery meter is taking the time where you finished charging to be the "stop charging time"
So when you take it out for 8 hrs, it's essentially taking the 8 hours into usage also, when it in reality is not
Instead of battery drain per hour of actual use, it is calculating battery drain per (hours used +8)
So you aren't solving battery issues. You're just masking it

Thanks for the info. Don't worry about people skepticism or harsh comments. If that was your experience in solving the issue then so be it. Cheers!
Sorry but my phone just went off at 60%. Not sure if this as a result of what I did but I used to have my phone going off like that before the 10.2.1 leaks.
Edited the original post to reflect this.

Ok, so it didn't work. Seems that the meter was just reading it incorrectly. I had this happen when I first installed the new radio.
Thanks for letting us know though, guess it's back to the drawing board.
I had the battery issue with my Z10 (10.2.1.1925/1296) but over time - a couple weeks, it resolved itself. Not sure why, but I have the feeling it has something to do with looking for LTE in my area. In my house, I have all three levels of service, depending on the location. I think when the phone constantly searches for the best network (on ATT:3G, 4G, 4G LTE), it uses more power. In the past few days, I seem to be mainly on LTE at home, rather than all networks. Cause and effect, IDK. If you have T-mo, you can try limiting yourself to 3G. ATT cannot downsize to 3G- it will always look to upgrade the network coverage. Overall, I drop 3% an hour, with phone, email and some web surfing. No games. It was so much higher initially, esp with 1295 radio.
The time left on the meter is just an derivative of the power curve, most likely over the last few minutes, so if you stop using the phone for 30 minutes, usage time rises. Use it for a game for a half hour, it will read low. Not so useful.
I had installed the Radio file 10.2.1.1926 in my Z10 100-2 and since that time I had trouble in contact research and editing ? Anyone else ?Any Ideas/solutions ?
