I'm not sure this is the right section to post this
( if not, moderator move it to the right one)

Anyways ,
Recently i've faced an issue that Instagram doesn't refresh anything unless I reinstall or clear data to relogin which is really annoying

This issue appeared after Instagram updated to 8.0.0 which has the new icons and UI

I've seen some other people facing this issue, so today I tried to install the latest version before 8.0.0 which is 7.22 and this issue no longer exists for me (do not update anything above 7.22)

Managed to get latest version work after upgrading to 10.3.2.2888 from 10.3.2.2876

I think this issue still exists, even though you had downloaded the old one. Maybe something has changed in Instagram server.

I don't think it's server side since its only happening on some BB10 devices,
I mean if i'm not wrong if you are using new or older version it should be connected to the same server so it's less likely server issue.
I tried to look it up online and contact Instagram and didn't get anywhere

But now 7.22 is working fine me I can confirm that

Yes I was using Instagram from playstore and reverted back to 7.22 ( which is linked up) and it solved my problem

if you google it, you will see it is a problem with the app across some android devices, not just BB. I read a report that they will try and address it in the next update

Just checked my iGrann Pro and it is updating my feed spot on!

Why don't you just get iGrann Pro or insta10? If I ever have any issues I do keep a Web link on my homescreen for backup

I have no issue with 3rd party application I already have Inst10 but I like how official IG handles DM specially that I got a lot of videos and images shared from different account directly to my DM and Inst10 doesn't even show them it only shows if someone send me a text

Update just arrived yesterday to 9.0. Installed on two devices (Passports) and confirmed working and updating, and very quickly at that.

Unfortunately 9.0 has same issue for me
Could be more problematic since i'm using a Z10

But glad that they're working on fix since it's solved on some devices, could wait for for few more updates to be fixed for me maybe

you have to uninstall old version first using google play if that is where you are installing from. Reboot device, then install again and log in to get it to work

I tried that now with latest version that has stories , uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, logged in, it works, but the moment you close the app and open it again same issue is back stuck on refreshing/loading

So again I downgraded to 7.22

strange, mine is working just fine, and there was an update yesterday as well

So I now have it running on 2 Passports and a Z30 and updating and refreshing fine on all devices. May be you need to update your google services on your device.

8.0 was working fine on my Classic. Since the 9.0 update I'm getting the same problem as you. I'll try the one you've posted if Instagram isn't fixed soon

Same, reverted back to last one and back working again, I believe 9.0.1

latest version of 9.1 stopped working for me 9.0.1 is however working still
