I broke the lock button on my Z30 and can no longer reset or power off the phone. Does anyone know of a way to reset the OS any other way?

Try holding down the up and down volume keys until the phone powers off then release when you see the BlackBerry logo.

Hold down both volume keys for about a minute but that just reboots it.

There is no way to lock or turn off the device by the touchscreen. (BlackBerry should have carried over the option from the PlayBook, but they didn't for some unknown reason.) However, how would you turn on your phone if the lock/power button is broken?

Even if the warranty is over, I would take the phone to be fixed.
