Yes, flash is dead. It's confirmed. No need to discuss it's merits and what not.

Just wanted to know how many folks will not update to 10.3.1 because of flash or for whatever reason you have.

I wouldn't not update jut because of flash. Is it really that important vs all the other updates to the os?

I'm just going to install another browser to use when I need flash. Problem solved

Speaking of no Flash, I came across that problem just today (BBC)

I have yet too decide what browser to use....Any suggestions? I kinda want native, if I go Android, i'll just install Firefox

I've come across comments multiple times here that photon browser is the best.

Photon browser. Considering how well android apps run on the latest 10.3.1 builds, it's a no-brainer. Have to agree with Hamster, the other updates completely outweigh the flash issue...

Watch BlackBerry make it mandatory lol.

(Which is possible as 10.3.1 contains SSL security fixes)

Can anyone confirm that photon browser works for flash in 10.3.1?
Flash is the main reason I downgraded back to 10.3 about a month ago.

And I don't see the photon browser in bbw

Can someone explain to me what is flash? And what does it do?
Why we might need it? Etc....

Keep on hearing "no flash in 10.3.1"
(and smart enough to realize we're not talking about the camera flash....lol)

Adobe Flash for Internet content such as Video. Many sites use HTML5 now which also does video

Here's a thread you will probably find useful since it gives quite a few solutions on how to deal with the BBC and no flash issue:

Cons: The calendar in 10.3 is worse, there is no flash

Pros: text selection is better, android runtime is improved.

Would love a list of all the differences so I can make an informed decision.
