Does anyone know which version of 10.2.1 I can use via Sachesi? I am running the 10.2 Roger's leak but pretty much just forgot if the model number matters. I'd like to just upgrade using Roger's 10.2.1 via Sanchesi. Let me know guys! Thanks

Also, will I need to load any new radios? It's been a couple months since I updated using Sanchesi

IIRC model numbers don't matter for Q series. Last time I did sachesi I used 3

    Q10SQN100-2/10.1.0.4699

Or you can load the leak, just saying

    edit

loading a leak is a destructive install, so all your sh1t will be wiped - this is a head's up!

Thanks for posting a new thread and not replying to mine, ha http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...achesi-899281/

    Let's go with -

    302 / 270 / Q10 / SQN 100-5
    10.2.1.537
I'll let you know how the leak works on my end. Hit me up with how it works for you.

EDIT - This isn't a leak, though. This is actually the official OS 10.2.1. Right? Riiight?

Yes and that day was today lol

If the Q didn't get the update on its supposed release date I highly doubt the Z30 will

The workday normally ends at 5... that goes for BlackBerry too. I think it's safe to say that it isn't coming.

Looks like 10.2.1 is rife with problems, doubtable VZW likey. Again, you told me to wait last week until today, and "a few more days" isn't gonna cut it. Might as well find out how bad the new OS is while I still have time to reload official 10.1.

Really, what problems. Been running it now for more than a month and a half , and have had no problems whatsoever . Best and most stable yet

I'll agree it's the best and most wonderfullest leak I've ever installed on my Verizon Q10, but twice in the last week I've removed it from the case to answer a call and the phone has rebooted itself. NEVER had that happen before, and I haven't messed with anything or installed/sideloaded anything in at least a month.

I was running BeBuzz headless instead of minimized, though. Hmmm...memory issues causing a reboot?

I've had similar issues, though without BeBuzz. Large text thread did its lockup thing again (froze for over five minutes on a blank text compose), phone randomly turned off and blinked red led until I held the power button and rebooted, camera took one pic then wouldn't take any more (claimed it couldn't 'start')... it was great at first, but now is acting less stable :-/

What version are you "vanilla" VZW guys running? I remember the original 10.0.something...something... that my q10 originally came with, and it was azz.

I tried a leak bout 6mo ago, and havent looked back. Running 10.2.1.1925 right now, its pretty damn sweet, and way faster than the 'stock' VZW software. No bugs to mention with my my moderate to heavy daily usage, other than a weekly reboot.

Couldnt imagine keeping the fone on the std software. What version is the current VZW release?

Verizon Q10s are, for the moment, on 10.1.0.4699. At least they were updated to 10.1.0.4xxx, the Z10s were left with 10.1.0.2151 until last week.

This link shows how to update using Sachesi if any Verizon users want to update to the Roger's 10.2.1 update. I updated to 10.2 about 3 months ago when it first came out and just updated to 10.2.1 this evening. Never had a problem with 10.2 so i'm sure I'll be fine with 10.2.1.

    Have updated to 10.2.1 on my SQN 100-2 Q10 via Sachesi (using 302 / 270 / Q10 / SQN 100-5 / 10.2.1.537).

[Notes] Took about an hour from beginning the download to getting into 10.2.1. Had just freshly wiped to latest official VZW release with Internet Explorer (this method is so easy if you want to downgrade, by the way) How to reload the OS on a BlackBerry Z10 or BlackBerry Q10 | CrackBerry.com before the Sachesi upgrade. When starting up the phone the loading bar paused at about the 5 o'clock position for a couple minutes before instantly snapping into the getting started screen. Usually I see it go to 12 o'clock, Verizon Wireless screen, BlackBerry 10 screen, getting started. First time on the home screen took a couple minutes for everything to get in place - for example, the drop down menu on the home screen was empty for probably 2 minutes and then started loading different links, like Settings, etc. Nothing remarkable other than that.

[Bugs right away] Adding my Facebook account through the Facebook app was followed by a question like, "Do you want to add this account as an e-mail account, too?" I assumed this was for BlackBerry Hub. Yes I would! Clicked yes, added the e-mail account, and then Facebook loaded (all of this was done within the Facebook app). However, afterwards, in every other account-based app (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc), clicking "sign in" was followed by an image or a frozen screen of the e-mail account's details that had been entered in the Facebook app. Very strange. Like, I'd load Twitter, click "sign in," and it would seem like the BlackBerry Accounts screen would load up... but it would be frozen (meaning nothing on the screen is clickable) with the details I had entered for that original e-mail account in the Facebook app already entered in. I'd close the app, re-open, same thing. Nothing clickable, completely frozen screen of arbitrary e-mail account details -- the apps were unusable. I was able to fix this bug with a battery pull but, you know, some of us have tight cases, and I would dread having that issue on a Z30.

[Gripes] Cool White / Warm White - really? It's well known that the Q10 is an awfully dim phone with terrible brightness. Adding blue/yellow hues to the whites of the screen makes it even dimmer. Wish there was a numerical indication of a perfect 50%.

[Reported bugs not experienced] My e-mail through Exchange seems to be working perfectly fine, thankfully. I was absolutely dreading having problems, but things seem fine. Received dire messages from work this morning, each one came in on time.

I can also confirm, for those that are worried, that I have also not had any delayed exchange emails. I have been on this release since it was leaked in December.

The confirmed exchange bug is for those who's exchange account requires a lock screen password. You will need to enter the device password twice after a reboot/restart. If you don't enter it immediately, you will need to manually resync email, calendar, contacts. This can get expensive if roaming, or just off wifi. Fortunately random reboots are pretty rare these days.
