Hi all,
I'm experiencing that since updated to the last leaked os I'm not able to see the name in my sms hub. System shows only the number. I let you note that I use a Gmail account.
Any suggestion????

Have you confirmed that your contacts are all as they should be? Have you tried rebooting the hub?

I have this problem as well. I think the issue is that the OS isn't able to figure out that +1 (323) 232-3232 is the same number as +13232323232. To fix this problem, you can individually add the missing version of the number (if you have the +13232323232 format as part of the contact info, add +1 (323) 232-3232, or vice versa). Or a simpler fix that worked for me is to delete your Gmail account and resync your contacts when you add your Gmail account back.

Yeah I think that would probably be the reason for this problem. Since having updated to the MR I also have this problem for half of my contacts where I can't see their names on the SMS Hub. But if I receive calls from them, the caller ID works fine, no delays.

Perhaps we can tweet Clewley for this problem so BBRY can push a fix?

The same problem, tryed to remove country code, with + or space, but the problem persist, in the past leak 810, contacts without country code had the same problem also when I reveived a phone call.

Go to Phone/Settings/Smart Dialling and check National Number Length.
At my carrier, default is always 12 and there were no problems on BB7.1
BUT, when I changed to 14, then got names from my address book, not just numbers.
Play with NNL.

I downgraded to the last firmware 10.1.0.4867 but i want to try your suggestion.

Partial workaround: give the name of the contact to the conversations ( menu on the right side in sms app main view)
