I've noticed recently that if I let my Z30 go below 10-20% and it goes into Battery Saving Mode, that even after supplying power and letting it charge up all the way, the Z30 will still run sluggishly, i.e. I can see all the lines in the Hub redraw one by one!

One of the settings in Battery Saving Mode is Limit Maximum CPU Performance. I'm suspecting that the CPU performance is limited and doesn't revert to full speed once power is supplied.

A Restart will get everything back to normal.

I don't know if it's a Z30 thing or a general OS thing...

Might be a Z30 thing, no such issues on my Passport. I suppose you could edit battery saver mode to not ramp down CPU if it bothers you.

I've switched off the Limit to see if that makes a difference... Maybe in two days, when the battery finally drains enough, I'll know something more...

Hi,
It happened to my Q10 few times, only after I charged it using the BlackBerry car charger. Mine just performed very sluggish like active frames stucked and swipes didn't work but resumed normal operation after a few seconds. Probably some bugs in the battery saving app.
