    I noticed this as well on my Classic and my girlfriend's Q5 when setting them up with the latest release, I don't remember seeing it in 10.2 so perhaps it's new to 10.3.x?

    As far as I remember, in my Z30 that setting always show 2.4 GHz and it is greyed out / unclickable.

    I just checked it now - I have the option to choose 5GHz aswell, and am on OS 10.3.1.1779. I have no clue when it was added though, last time I used the Hotspot, it was 2.4GHz only, and unchangable.

    I only have the 2,4Ghz option on my Q10 with current os, doesnt matter tough battery drain is so horrible I never use the Hotspot anyways.
