    Now that we can download .apk's directly, should we delete any older sideloaded .bar's (converted apk's) and reinstall the .apk? for example, i sideloaded Skype and Netflix and both work ok, but would a direct .apk download work better, and if so, does it automatically update/delete the old existing one?

    I would. If you use Snap to dl, you can check for updates and dl them. Same with 1Mobile Market.

    That's what I did.

    I even deleted the apps from BB World and installed more current versions using direct apk loading.

    thanks. sideloaded snap and tried an apk, but stuck on processing, and all other android apps stopped working. trying a few fixes found in the forum, hopefully doesn't take too long to get running normally again.
