i am willing to help anyone get connected to the vpn. it tends to small issues, what most people are running into are.

1. user1, user2, user3 > user100 (you need to select a unique user. if it doesn't work with one try another)
2. user1 < is case sensitive. if you put User1 or User2 or User3 it will never work

if you connect to the bbm channel it is quite easy to help you set it up. have done this with multiple people already

future version of the app will include the ability to sideload an app present on your device. currently you need to have it hosted on some http service. simply upload the bar from your device to your favourite hosting service, then link to it from within the app. voila.

also there are many apps already available on the server. you might want to check "List Bars". If you do find one that you like to install just type the name of the app.bar (eg. "Snap-2_0_0_2.bar")

I have it installed. Vpn connected no issues.

I start the app. And enter the name of the bar file from the bar server. Snap-latest.bar.

And nothing happens. I even entered the link to the website and still nothing.

It says: installing the app. Please wait a little....

And nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong?

Did you remember to enable Development mode? Also, make sure the VPN IP is correct.

It shows same version number, but it's actually different. Just delete old one and install that one.

Yes, that's what it shows, but after installing it, you will notice a little difference in the Ui. The server address is now there by default.

Agree on both posts. Thing is on the q10 you cant see the dialog on the bottom of the screen like the z10 once you hide the bar I can see the sideload it and bors on server buttons but below that is the dialog box that we can't see to actually know if there are any errors.

Development mode was not enabled, so I enabled it. I had assumed that since it was asking for the password it was not necessary.

In an case still no luck. IP address is correct. Verified a few times.

Bar file installed fine.

Help me out here guys, no matter what # I use for the identity and username I get "connection error" timeout. Tried user 1,2,98,99,100,17,71,and 85. I guessing I should have at least gotten lucky by now, so maybe I'm doing something else wrong. I'll post pix of the settings I'm using. I'm pretty sure it's exactly as stated on the site but my eyes may be fooling me
