I am tempting to get a BB 9900, but heard some brick and battery issue. I also heard the BB10 will be releasing sometime this year. Should I wait for BB10? BTW, my Bold 9700 is still working fine. Just want a 4G BB phone.

it's your decision i would just go and pick up the 9900 right away.
mine has been working fine since i bought 5/6months ago, no any real problems.
never had a bricking issue, battery life is reasonable for me. can get 1 day easy.
with some moderate usage, it's just fine for me.
it's all up to you, since the first bb10 phones will be most likely touchscreens only.

I plan on upgrading to a 9810 in a couple of weeks. When BB10 phones come out I'll look into getting a BB10 phone

9900. Just got my 9930 yesterday, it's pretty sweet...even better with a PlayBook!

First BB10 phone will be keyboard-less, so if you want keyboard, get the 9900 tomororw.

When asked whether one should jump the gun on an upgrade but is apprehensive that a new unit might come out, or a new unit will come out, I always say that "buy what makes you happy"

Besides, by the time one waits for the upcoming unit (in this case, the BB10), the company provided you with that new gadget will come out again with another new one.
