ShortCutIt from BBW is just great as it allows the creation of Home Screen shortcuts to websites AND to docs and you can dictate your chosen icon.
Can anybody recommend a working apk from apkpure or similar that has the same versatility? I've found any number allowing shortcuts to websites and apps (don't see the point of this, we've got them anyway) but none to docs. Def need that capability.

Not sure If you want to use it in an Android phone or..? In that case I use "File shortcut" - a functional app.

Or use shortcuts from the keyboard if you have a physical keyboard on your phone.

Am I guessing correctly that you're going BBID-less and are simply looking for an apk replacement since you don't have access to BBW anymore? If so, here's the Doo bar file directly from the developer. I believe it should be capable of dooing what you're looking for.

Oh God! How did I miss this app since all these years. This is BB10 and Android can't do this.

There should have been few more options like ":Open with browser" for each shortcut so that we can assign respective browsers to open respective shortcuts.
