I mentioned this in another post reply. Some thought it should be a thread of its own. The trick is that backspace deletes the character to the left. Holding shift with a backspace deletes the character to the right. I think BlackBerry should publish all these tricks. Maybe they have I do not know.

If anyone doesn't know already:
Line break: Hold shift + send.
To use trackpad:
Hold shift+ move finger around on area above keyboard.

Hold shift+ move finger around on area above keyboard.

Using shift actually invokes the text select function, although it does mimic the old trackpad.
