I know that Whatsapp is withdrawing support for BB10 devices, what exactly that means, no-one knows for sure, but that's not the focus of this thread. I mentioned that as to say I'm not surprised by the recent error I had with Whatsapp when trying to share a video :

    Are services slowly dying-img_20161107_234407.jpg

However, I was quiet taken back when I got a somewhat similar error message from LinkedIn.

    Question:
Is LinkedIn also leaving BlackBerry? Or am I alone on that error?

could just have been a signal issue? But i wouldn't be surprised if a lot of services leave BB....especially if it's going to cost them more to sustain services.

Well in short I already let my friends who talk to me via Whatsapp that I may no longer be able to continue any conversations or groups after the Dec. 31st deadline. I told them that if they wished to continue with me in a group chat we could either use BBM or Facebook. They said they'd have no issue switching to BBM but we will see. I don't care cause I'm not changing platforms for them.
I don't communicate via LinkedIn and there is always the website so don't care. There seems to be work-arounds for different phones for different things. I've come to accept that no phone is perfect yet BB10 is the closes if found to making me happy.

Viber is another Whatsapp type messaging service. Not sure how good it is yet, don't know anyone with it!!
Also had the LinkedIn error message but it still appears to be working.
