Saving Contacts to email
Attachment 301219
I'm on OS 10.3.0.1154 and I realized that on saving contacts, I can now have them synced with my email account.
My question is if there is a way to "move" or also sync those contacts already saved on my phone to my email? I've looked and haven't found anything.
I really do hate losing contacts and this would ease a lot of heartache.
PS - less than a week on this new OS and it is AWESOME!!!!

Shouldn't they sync automatically? Don't they? Or am I wrong?

I don't have many contacts. I ended up having to unlick all contacts, select edit and then unchecked and rechecked the email option. It was quite tedious but everything is backed up to my email now.

Good! Contacts are really a pain always have been on BB10...

I'm surprised you were even able to do it that way. I'm used to it because on BBOS 7, that it was stuck on whatever profile it was originally saved under. And I have like 5 email addresses with different accounts to save to
Me, any personal emails I save on the device and sim. Any work contacts, I save on all 3 (including email that is linked).
Honestly, the few that I accidently saved on just my phone, and not to the email account, I just deleted the contact and saved it on my office Outlook. And let it sync back to my phone. Probably not the best way, but it worked.

I have two email accounts on my phone, but saving a new contact only allows me to save to one of them - my office Exchange account. And that's always been an option.
But, saving to my home IMAP account is not an option. I'm on 10.3.0.1052.

Same here. On BBOS 7, I could save it to any email, not on BB 10.
But then again, I haven't set any of my other email addresses to sync with the contacts or calendar. Just the emails. So maybe this is the reason.
