Which version of the OS do you have? The 10.3.2? Maybe this is the reason of the incompatibility.
Yes, i'm still using the 10.3.2, the last update of BlackBerry Classic

    That wouldn't be it.

The issue is on the computer side.
What could be the issue on the computer ? I think about it too, must be the security that is stopping the app to work but i don't know

I would update to 10.3.3. That might fix many of the issues you have here and elsewhere.

Download the autoloader to PC, unzip it, plug in device, and run the autoloader.

Your device will be wiped in the process.

See Conite's post above. The Classic was updated to 10.3.3.3216, which is the last update to the OS.

Okay. That's the Software Release number, which is the same as OS version 3216. So you are on the last version released.

Sachesi: Firmware Extractor, Searcher and Installer-img_20200621_101555.png

is this updated to the latest? I'm not yet familiar with the OS Versions and why would devices of similar model have different release codename? In dealing Android ROMs (counterpart of autoloaders in BB Language), each device brand and model have specific signature otherwise, it will not be accepted by the phone. I have read from anywhere that many attempted to load OS versions that are not intended for their devices and had bad results. How do I know which one is for my device, bb classic for example?

Hello I am not computer literate but I sense the Sachesi firmware extractor, searcher, installer is a good thing for keeping my BB Passport alive. How do I install it on the BB Passport, how does it work? Any step by step instructions?

This is a PC app. It is used for sideloading native BB10 apps onto your device via USB cable.

The Sachesi program is meant for a PC and not your Passport. It is a utility that is useful for sideloading .bar files/apps onto your Passport and installing firmware as you stated. AFAIK there are no step by step instructions but you can check Youtube perhaps or just look at and learn from this thread.

Does it work on LInux Mint 20? I've been trying to make it work but I keep getting errors while trying to install using the instructions provided in the first few posts and on the project's git page.

It should work as it has a Linux install https://github.com/xsacha/Sachesi/releases

And I have it on an older version (18) of Ubuntu that works. Not sure about the latest version, however.

Tried to install from there but some qt libraries are not satisfied and thus cannot proceed. Is it just drag and drop the sachesi file inside the .tar to a terminal? That's what I'm trying to do

Way back when I installed I had to get some repository packages but I honestly cannot remember exactly what I did. Sorry.

Don't sweat it. I was able to get the chrome extension running and I only needed to sideload a couple of. bar files.

    Thank you anyway

BBID is irrelevant. As long as you don't wipe after January 4th, you should be fine with sideloading.
