First of all the title of the screen shot says it all.. RUMORS. BlackBerry has not confirmed anything.

Secondly do you realize how old are those devices? Independently by the whole Android adoption you cannot pretend PERPETUAL software upgrades to old devices.

And I think its of course a good decision to stop supporting all the previous models. Am glad that they will be doing at least till march 2016, which makes the support almost 3 years and 3 months. Just because the phones run sooper good for 3 years, company cant stop making money, and after all, its just we already BB10 users are the only one who buys the device as per math. So it ofcourse makes sense to make money through us. But I strongly hopes, by then, they give some real good options for old users to choose.

But Z10 has the same hardware as Classic except trackpad and screen size, I mean they already have the drivers. Does 10.3.3 support only square screens?

Almost every previous phones before classic and PP share the same powerful spec. But supporting for more than 3 years, is a loss to company. And nobody says the phone will be dead without OS right. If u want to experience new OS features, we should buy a new one.

Wait, but if OS runs on Classic it should automatically run on Z10, because they have the same chips, the same drivers. They do not need to optimize it. What is the cost to build a firmware for Z10? It is a ridiculous to drop Z10 support but continue with Classic. It is not a matter of the phone age but a matter of logic.

Grow up and stop being a drama queen...

What are you expecting? Your device will start a physical self destruct countdown or something?

With whatever number of enterprise customers having these devices, security updates / patches won't be stopped after 03/16...

Nice Z10 and Z30 die. No new upgrade device for this. So now they are forced us to switch to other OS?
And don't forget most developers still using this device and BlackBerry offer only loan device for development only for Enterprise.

In one move, lose users and developers. They are become drunk or what?

Buy a new one? Or wait for someone in the leaked/beta section of this forum to post a Z10/Z30 optimized build? Don't say it's impossible 'cause there's also leaks sometimes (esp. right after leaking) that aren't leaked for the Passport but there's always someone making it ready for the Passport anyway.

That is what u r not trying to understand. What benefit BlackBerry gets when u use z10 for 4 years or even more without buying a new one?
Stopping new updates can make u or anybody who has all previous phones start thinking of buying a new one which has OS updates.

It mostly wont be the cases when BlackBerry stops supporting the phones. Either all those who leaks will be forced to stop it or maybe BlackBerry does something through which if nobody can either make a leak for those phones or maybe some problems can occur when done in those phones.
