I love how ppl claim BlackBerry is fixing bugs. Right, im more than happy with my q10 running 10.3.x since 10.3.0.600 and didn't encounter any serious bug, but sure you keep waiting for that magic bug free ota update

Edit: also, Porsche z10 (9983) and the new q10 with z30 radio (classic) have no troubles running the new update but keep flattering yourself that BlackBerry is just trying to fix bugs for legacy devices. They are not...

    BlackBerry Q10 SQN100-3
Micheal(works at BB) reported the BB service dropping issue to the Dev deam, which a few bulids ago he said it was fixed, now its happening again, logs have been sent over for dev team to review, i know a few people reported screen flicker to BB if its actually being fixed is different story.

The problem has been with the OTA process. Yes, the last couple of leaks seem to be solid when running an autoloader and not restoring. The problems appear with non-destructive updating - some people have success, but many are having serious issues (particularly with the Android Runtime) when coming from 10.2.1.

They have tried 1949 and 2072 so far in limited release to whitelisted devices (Zs and Qs) and have not been pleased with the results.

More than one year into development and they still haven't reached a good build? Wow!

Michael Clewley emailed me back after I was sending logs of my Passport device. Turns out some of the bugs that forces the device to reboot has fixes in 10.3.1 and I should be able to update "in the near future"

According to Michael Clewley, he said "When we are ready we will share" basically he is saying that when the OS is finished and finalised they will make a release date for it. So makes me think that they are still building it and haven't even decided on a date to release it yet. VERY annoying. Just means all "leaked" info about it launching before 18th Feb could all be lies.

The Rogers chart I've found is generally accurate so hopefully comes through this time.

Could have something to do with the non-destructive upgrade issues all of us leakers are having, seeing as the beta-zone guys all were saying that was their number 1 priority :s

They have about 2-3 more days and they will be "late" again as they said early February and anything after 11 February is definitely not early February.

    From N4BB:
When in February? We have exclusively learned the global rollout of OS 10.3.1 to all current in-market BB10 devices will be on February 19th.

Apparently, the rollout was supposed to have happened yesterday. However, BlackBerry had issues with the update accidentally wiping the entire device. Hopefully, BlackBerry has solved the issue and we can expect the update to hit users devices by the 19th.

Be sure for that day there will be another issue arising:

    BB switching off without reasons.
    Contacts disappearing.
    Hub appearing in pink.
Simil Siri assistant talking like George W Bush.

Then roll out of the new update will be moved to 29th of February!
    Lol

In my experience, all major OTA updates on any platform are 1. Delayed forever and 2. When they finally arrive they break the device that was working perfectly well before. I'm sure they do it on purpose to force your hand into buying the latest model.

I don't care how green the grass looks in the 10.3 field. I am staying right here on 10.2.1 where everything works just the way I like it.
