What's the best way to view these documents locally without having to send them off to another server for viewing?

In other words, what apps out there can help me read the rtf files I receive as attachments in emails?

    Good to know.
You can send it to evernote, then from there email it to yourself. It shows up in the body as text not as an attachment.

Most word processing apps from Amazon Store can open it (WPS and OfficeSuite among others).
I personally use the File Converter app ( http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/59953367 to convert the RTF file on my phone. Recommend that native app.
