Sitting here slumped on my sofa and just had a thought as I was on YouTube on my z10.. wouldn't it be a great idea if instead of having to turn off rotation lock for the whole OS by exiting, swiping down then changing the option.. that there was a button next to the other buttons while watching a video to turn it off just for watching so the rest of the phone stays locked? I think that would be really useful.



What do you guys think?

YES. And as far as I've noticed, when rotation lock is on, all videos have to be watched in portrait. I would love to have the option to lock it in landscape, because it's a real problem for me when I'm watching videos in bed laying on my side. So yeah.

I usually work that around by rotating the screen to the other side, then pointing the phones head towards the bed, on the one side that it doesn't rotat to... but the option of a lock would be good, something like, keep the phone in portrait all the time but always play videos in landscape...

I do that sometimes too, but when I have earphones plugged in, it sticks out on the top which can be kinda amnoying when I'm trying to make it lie upside down against a wall.
