Well looks like Rogers is handing out Samsung phones to replace the blackberry phones. There not replacing old OS6 or 7 models, they Re replacing Q-5 and Q-10 s.
How do I know, I personally know many employees and have been told and seen the changes.
I'm glad one giant Canadian company is supporting another..
Not surprising, Rogers have been a bit shabby towards BlackBerry for some time now. They wouldn't even carry the Z30 until there was a public backlash, then only online.
Well it is no different at Bell Canada I had a technical from Bell and he was using a Samsung also. I asked him how liked it he said he would rather have his old BlackBerry as he never needed to charge. He said almost always has to plus his phone in to the charger when he gets in his truck or it won't make it through the day. FYI Cogeco cable is the same they pulled all of the BlackBerry out and gave everyone iPhones. Some companies never learn.

What are you talking about??? I work for Rogers and just had my Z10 replaced for a Passport.
Through out the company many still use Blackberry, for some departments they use android, iphone and Blackberry combined.
Rogers still has a huge partnership with Blackberry, it's why we have so many certified Blackberry techs and BES specialists for our corporate clients.
Not sure who you know or who your quoting but Rogers still has a strong partnership with Blackberry that's never going to change.
I was one who knocked Rogers very hard in the past but with time I came to realise something. Not all "Rogers" stores are "Rogers"... walk in to a "Rogers" and get charged for a sim is one clear indication of where you're standing. The real stores don't charge for sim cards. The "real" Rogers stores are very positive towards BlackBerry these days and I cannot be truthful and say that the employees are anything but very knowledgeable and supportive to any platform of choice. Place a call to Rogers support line and there's actually a separate BlackBerry section these days also. One Rogers store in the east end of Toronto actually has reps with BlackBerry phones as their personal choice which is great to see too. This is in direct contrast to the "authorised agent" not far away without a single BlackBerry device on display.
NewsFlash! The highest rankin g American citizen is using a BlackBerry
Nope. I work with different divisions of Rogers Communications. The employees had q5 and q10s. Now they are all migrating to Samsung. I'm talking corporate
