Waze and Instagram crash after about 60 seconds of loading.

Waze is not side loaded, Instagram obviously is.

the runtime is locked so that might account for instagram issues. can you uninstall and reinstall waze

I am not having that problem.
What I did notice is that the android runtime took about a minute to load the first time after this install, but otherwise my apps are behaving like normal.
    Try a hard reset/battery pull.

Damn... This is why I was hesitant to install a leak. 10.2 is downloading as I type this. I hope my precious waze is ok!

That's odd because my experience is that Skype runs so much better with 10.2 on Rogers.

Actually, it always take a while to load right after you restart. In the case with your update, because the system is also using resources to update and reindex stuff even after you restart, it takes a bit longer. If you ever force close your Android app and then open it, you will notice a small blue loading bar at the bottom.

Yeah I have always noticed that.

Skype doesn't even finish loading. very frustrating.

I'll let it sit for a hour or so then try again.

    Thanks

To get maximum performance after an update it can take up to 24 hours. Even based on my experience two days ago.

But like after 6-8 you can turn on airplane mode, hard reset then turn it back off which worked for me and all my apps

    I have Z10STL100-3/10.2.0.1767(from singapore)

I'm on the Rogers official 10.2 and all my Android apps not only work but performance is noticeably increased. Even Netflix runs great.

Sorry I can't be of much help.

You must be a lucky one. Did you install any leaks prior to this? I just can't seem to get any andriod apps working

I had the leaked unlocked runtime previously and I think it may still be there because IG opened with no probs. Not too sure.

Does the runtime that came with the update have the Android bar minimized or still showing all the time?

Same here! I've fired up a number of sideloaded apps (no debug token) after the 10.2 update and reboot and they all seem fine so far (Instagram, Candy Crush, Flipboard, Vine etc...). I have about 60 sideloaded bar files in total on my Z10 so it will take some time to check them all.

    Very odd...

EDIT: I had the unlocked runtime from 10.2.1.641 installed before the upgrade. I wonder if it was kept due to it being a "higher" version.

Sometimes after a new leak or runtime I choose "wait" when I get the Android runtime is not responding error message vs choosing to force close. Usually comes to life and is fine until the next reboot which can be days or weeks later.

I never side loaded a runtime and never installed a leak.

Tried numerous hard resets with the airplane mode trick, but still can't get a single android app to open.
