once update is available and i download it will it erase all my information like texts, apps etc.. as if i were installing a new leak?

Nope, it's supposed to install everything without erasing any existing data. Btw my friend is with Rogers in montreal and he got the update this morning.

Do a battery pull on the Q10 and restart your phone, search manually and then it should show up...

Be sure to give it a few hours to rebuild the contacts... at first they will appear spotty and incomplete or duplicated. In time, it settles itself and rights it automatically...
