    Hey all.

Just wanted to share in case anyone else has experienced poor performance from .1899 radio on .1925. I had been running 10.2.1.1055 leak until .1925 dropped here, courtesy of lengend. 10.2.1.1925 is a great OS, but I noticed crappy phone call experience, loosing signal in building elevator which hadn't happened in a while and a decrease in recently rolled out LTE connection speed. So I flashed the .1056 radio for STL 100-2/3 available here, courtesy of thurask.

As you can see in the image below, connection speed increased after flashing .1056 Radio which is the bottom test result, the first 3 test results are from .1899 Radio. Also, my phone call experience improved, looking forward to see how signal behaves in elevator. 10.2.1.1056 Radio is compatible with 10.2.1.1925 OS so if this is your case, flash away.

UPDATE: I'm sharing .1056 radio autoloaders for every device to simplify the reverting process, again, thanks to thurask for sharing the radios

This is very difficult to test accurately due to all the environmental factors which can effect signal quality.

Yes, I know what you mean. But if you check the test times in the first two test, you'll see it is a low net usage hour. And I ran the latest test in the middle of the morning, when I believe net usage is higher.

I too was very disappointed with LTE download speeds with this new radio. So am in the process of installing the 1055 radio. Thanks OP for the heads up.
I have a Nexus 4 that has download speeds of up to 35 mb LTE vs the puny 17 mb download speeds I was getting with both my Z10 and Q10! Now I also gotta find the 1055 radio to install into my Q10. Again, OP, thanks for the heads up.

Haven't tried with that one, but you can always try. If it doesn't work, you can flash .1056. It won't destroy your OS or data

I flashed .1056 because it was the last good performing radio I had before .1899

OP, thanks, was looking to see if anyone had done this!! Will do it as well. As far as the 1260 radio is concerned it is likely compatible but was as poor as the the newest. 1056 has been the best in a while.

Can confirm this works on the Q10 as well. Signal in my low coverage area is much improved. Yesterday couldn't send SMS or make calls. Now, no issues!

Yep. Radio for 1259 is poor too compared to 1055. How do I flash the radio from 1055 to 1259? Do I just sideload it? Or run it just like an autoloader? Thanks!

I downloaded the 1056 radio file and installed into my Z10. Downloads speeds were even worse for me. LTE download speeds went from 17 mb to 9-10 mb. I did this test at about the same time and place. But of course xmas is over and maybe everyone is back on their OTA devices? Any way, I tried to find an autoloader for the 1899 z10 radio but could not . I found the signed file and tried to make an auto loader with Darcy tools but just kept getting "invalid file" error. I have done this before on other radios but Darcy now does not seem to work. So if any one could point me to an autoloader for the Z10 radio file (1899), would appreciate it.
On another note, I am beginning to think that maybe the radio in my Nexus 4 is far superior to blackberry radios. As I mentioned before that I got 35 mb download speeds over LTE/Nexus 4 while only getting about 17 mb download speeds on my z/Q10( before I downgraded the radio to 1056). Might be an operator error somewhere on my part.

I'm away from my desktop, but I'll post a .1899 radio autoloader as soon as I get to it. Sorry it didn't work for you. BTW, which variant do you have? STL 100-1, 2/3 or 4?

It's strange, I'm getting the same "Error: File not valid". And I tried with both, the one thurask uploaded and the one I extracted from the OS+Radio Autoloader.

Yep, and I downloaded again the radio file, tried it and same error. Then I tried to get that radio file using Darcy and still same problem. I also tried cap.exe, followed the how-to's and still get that same error "file not valid". Ug. I will look around some more to see if I can find that 1899 radio file and if not then I will have to reload the whole os. Oh well. Thanks for trying.

Read This Thread and Flashed Radio .1056 over 10.2.1.1925, in lieu of .1899.

Immediately find an improvement both in the network response as well as Wifi. I was definitely facing a lot of sluggishness in Wifi and some sluggishness in the Network.

Am on Reliance India, Z10 STL 100-1, running 10.2.1.1925.

Thank you and thanks to thurask, lengend, SirJes and the others who made playing with these files so easy. I also experienced poor perfomance from the 1899 radio so I switched back to 1056.
