Mid October? Is sure?

Has anyone tried this on the Passport?

I'm using it on the Passport, seems fantastic so far except for the keyboard remapping not working (as noted in the thread) and Game Boy support being missing in the most recent build. Passport makes a great handheld.

beta? Could you give me a bar?

Look up on Google Maps, there should be a bar near you ^^

Still no update?

version 1.2.8
https://github.com/jtokarchuk/RetroA...es-1_0_2_8.bar
Thanks for this! Downloading now :D
It'll be beautiful to play this on my Passport, been missing my physical keyboard since BB7 X_X
Why recommend 1.0.2.8 and not 1.0.2.9?
Posted via CB10
I don't think 1.2.9 works on passport

I might have missed some things glancing over this thread, but has anyone found a way to remap the Select key to work on the Passport?
I'm loving this but I'd really like to pull the bike out in Pokemon! :P

I told you guys Square Kisser wasn't going to build us one! We were bamboozled!

Supposedly there is an update coming out in a few days, it was supposed to be Sept but I've heard that the beta should release this weekend

I'll then eat my words, but we've been told this before.

I agree

Well maybe we could make some "noise" in the Libretro /RetroArch forums. If you look at the re-instated BlackBerry section it looks as if there's no one there or at the very least not many people who care.

Although I am also desperately waiting for the release we should all be thankful and patient! Developing emulators is not an easy tasks and we should appreciate the hard work.
Focus on something more important and come back in a few weeks.

By "noise" I mean show a little more interest.

I think we should have gone the RetroArch forums, there is no one, the developer will feel BBers too less to develop for BB10 and it is not necessary to upgrade for it! Everybody think about it!

That's not fair. There's been no mobile release for the new RetroArch yet. If the new beta releases for iOS and Android and not BB10 then we can start talking.

He has also not been on any site other than his own announcing the BlackBerry 10 support. That's not a good sign either.

We can wait and see but I still think the onus is on us to convey that BlackBerry 10 fans are out there. We have some numbers and we're interested. I can't speak for Squarepusher but he could have seen the less than handful of comments and communication on the BlackBerry section of the forum and felt like maybe he's only developing for 2 people. What encouragement would that give him to spend his time and resources to do so? There might be many BlackBerry 10, RetroArch fans out there but apart from here, I don't see nor hear much from them.
Take a look at every single section besides BlackBerry and you'll see signs of life, lots of activity. Then take a look at the BlackBerry section - it's basically a ghost town.

Part of the reason for this, I think is that BlackBerry 10 RetroArch users may tend to come here with any of their issues or even just to discuss the emulator.
