You ever go to a cell phone store, look at the smart phones they have set up for display and to try out but you can't actually make a phone call and/or how they seem to be playing a continuous loop showing off features and other stuff?
That is Retail Mode.

Unless you are a retailer, you kinda don't wanna mess with Retail Mode.
Once you enable Retail Mode, it will wipe all media.
