Wouldn't it be cool if you could select which options appear for contacts. It gets so cluttered sometimes. If you hardly ever call someone's work# and never txt a land line, I'd like to remove those options.

I second that but then your phone book would have to be perfectly organized and many ppl don't have that.

Sometimes cell phones are stored as a "work" contact.

Phones don't. People would if they categorize them correctly while storing.

IMO it's a good thing that phones don't limit you to texting just cellphone numbers. There's a bit of subjectivity involved (like what if someone's work number is their cellphone number too? Or someone ports their cellphone number to a landline, etc.?)

No matter what, the default entry for.a first phone number should be Mobile not Work. It is absolutely stupid to have it be Work. Or there should be a choice default.
