I started having this issue after getting a new alienware laptop. My Q10 still wanted to connect to my old tosh so I deleted the pairing and now my file manager won't access my new laptop and what's worse is after deleting the tosh off my list of paired pc's I am getting this error:

    Remote File Access Not Working-img_00000491.png

Today i changed my BBID username (email address) and signed out of BB Link, signed in with my updated BBID, rebooted my device and it works great now!

    10.1.0.2354 (Leak)
    This worked for me.

I did eventually get this working but only after the latest update - something must have been reset or whatever because after a couple of days it just started working again

Turn airplane mode off and on. You'll have to do this after every reboot

    Thanks for the tip.

I just tried that and it still shows my desktop as being offline. It isn't. I'm typing on it right now

K next double check your firewalls, I just had a windows update that turned all my firewalls back on without me knowing about it. And I also forget to mention to make sure your wifi is off before toggling airplane mode

Which os are you running? Does link say your phone is connected to RFA? And I'm sure you checked your anti virus firewall as well

I've heard people are having problems with the 10.1 MR releases. I was already on the newest 10.2 when they came out. I'd recommend going to that. If you don't want to do that then I'd say try deleting and reinstalling link, renaming the pc and phone, or try turning off link on your phone, delete your pc in the phone settings and try setting it up again. People have said that some of those fixed their issues. But I'd say just make the jump to 10.2, it runs amazing for me

I don't want to run an unofficial OS.

I can't be bothered removing and reinstalling Link. The last time I did that I had to go and delete all of the files, photos and contacts it duplicated.

    Thanks anyway.

    Windows 7?!?

    You actually upgraded from XP???

    Wowowowowwww...

FWIW: I hear many RFA issues revolve around BBID account / login matters.

I've had Windows 7 for the last 3.5 years. Vista before that. I preferred Vista as it seemed more stable. 7 is giving me all sorts of issues even after a recent format/reinstall.

Anyway, a reboot of the phone seems to have resolved the problem. Bit of a hassle and hopefully the bugs will be worked out in 10.2

Not to be a broken record, but make sure IPv6 is enabled and working, because it is a pre-requisite for RFA.

Most likely something to do with either that or firewall configuration, something with networking configuration.

Since the last time it was working, did you install any updates, patches, devices, software?

    Try reinstalling BlackBerry Link.

I just did that today and it fixed my problem of not seeing any files.
