    I just realized that the Assistant in 10.3.0 has reduced functionality in some ways compared to Universal Search in 10.2.1 despite the Assistant's many new features. Specifically, the ability to search using custom search engines has been lost, forcing me to launch the browser before being able to carry out my search. There was no need to do this in 10.2.1 on my Z10.

    Am I missing something, or is it an inherent limitation of Assistant?

    Can't speak to 10.3 but 10.3.1 allows custom expanded search.

    I want the old voice dial back because the new assistant takes too many steps to dial a number

    I think the new assistant is WAY better then the old voice dial....but I also have to agree that it does take too many steps to make a simple phone call

    I think we're gonna see a huge improvement with the voice assistant on the official 10.3 release. At least I hope so.

    At least you can make a phone call with it. In 10.2 the feature didn't understand what I was saying 99% of the time. Completely frustrating.

    I don't think so. I suspect our current leaks are basically the official vs.

    I'm HOPING that we see a new unexpected amazing app with the official 10.3.1 but I'm not holding my breath

    I will be very disappointed if the official release is basically the same as the leaks. Assistant is bearable but it needs a lot of refinement. I don't want to rock two phones, lol.
