    So i just watched this, and i completely agree! i've never ever actually swiped up in normal, day to day use.

    Kevin's suggestion of having another pane to the right seems a lot more sensible, and it occured to me that the reason for that is flow.

    BB10 was built around the concept of how you interact with the OS, how you always keep moving, Almost all of the gestures are side to side. Even accessing the hub, you move up, but then swipe it away to the side. So having to swipe up to reach the second set of active frames seems a bit....unnatural.

    I dunno how many other people only use 4 frames, but to me at least having to swipe up disrupts from the flow, but continuing to swipe to the side....well that just goes with the flow (im sorry, i had to!)

    Since the powers that BB (boom! im on a role) sometimes occasion this here forum, i think it's something worth bringing to their attention.

    When you come right down to it, its a matter of design philosophy.
