    Hi all,
So I have the opportunity to buy a passport which does not boot up. It goes through that circle thing but seemingly never gets beyond 100%, you never really get to access the OS.
I've checked out various threads about this and wanted to have input from users who have had the issue. Have you ever managed to solve the it? A battery drain? Factory reset? From BlackBerry Protect?

    Thanks all!
    Chris.

If this happened to me on a device that I could simply pull the battery, that would be my first attempt. Worked every time.

Since the passport doesn't have a removable battery....

I'd charge it up, then connect it to BlackBerry Link, then wipe it using BlackBerry Link...if you can't connect to it that way, I'd save your money...

Yup that's a fair point. If I can connect it with Link than it should be ok, but if not...
