Looks dangerously close to the android OS setup. I'd like to see this screen redone and less "Androidy".

I don't know if I like it. It looks good, but I don't think it's better than what BlackBerry offers in 10.2.1 with the customisable quick settings. Nice effort though.

Looks very much Android like, like the current 10.2.1 implementation better, but your design isn't bad tho! I don't want more resemblance to Android, the call screen is already enough :P
That music player on the bar would be handy tho..

    Why include notifications?

Nice design. It does look similar to Android. But I do feel that even though it may be convenient to add the "Notifications" to the Quick Settings menu, it's a little redundant since BB10 already has "Peek and Flow"

This was on N4BB's website, so I don't know exactly if you worked on this design. But the included notifications are pointless. That's why there is the BlackBerry Hub

We have Hub, so throw that notifications area for more screen real estate.

I don't think music player controls is necessary, it has dedicated hardware keys for it.

One thing I'd like is the ability to have the settings app to be shown right in the quick settings itself (so we don't actually enter Settings app and there's no active frame to close) but IDK how they'd pull it off

I'd like to see the music thing be on a completely black screen with just giant next, previous, and pause buttons for driving. That'd be nice.

Actually he's the one who designed it, it was on adhams channel before it was on N4BB and I yeah I hate the design because it looks like Android and the notification is extremely Useless.

It looks really Android like and I don't think there is a point to having notifications in the swipe down from the bottom as the hub is so easily accessible.

It's a bit cluttered, and yes as it's been pointed out the notifications don't have a point to it. Good job tho it looks good the way you set it up.. if only it wasn't androidy.

Someone already said but a full fledged settings page without going into settings app itself would be awesome

The only thing I dig from that designe is just an idea, the idea of integrating the Media player, other than that, to much like android.

Just what I think, I don't think notifications should be there since it would be easier to get to the hub from an app then get to there. I do like the "carousel" of quick settings on the top and as stated below the media would be nice. We do have the option when we change the song via media buttons already but this one is appealing.

Btw, just throwing this out there: "too much like Android" is not a valid argument. If it works, then an Android-like design is not bad. Refer to Apple and Microsoft's window system

It kinda is....you want something intuitive and innovative. ..not a cleaned up version of android.

Innovative is one thing, but dismissing ideas solely on the ground of "it looks like an Android" can't hold. A cleaned up Android UI would have the advantage of 1) Familiarity and 2) Usability

What I'm saying is, just because something looks like an Android doesn't mean it's not good.

Take, for example, the original blue circle from 10.0, it's basically blue Android circle (or maybe blue Windows Vista busy pointer). It's good, if I do say so myself.

Something innovative would be the squircle. It's good and unique, but the presence of squircle doesn't invalidate the merits of blue circle

Except the more BlackBerry keeps copying stuff from android (not saying they do) the less people have a reason to switch. Imagine if instead of the hub, BlackBerry stared at android's notification center and cleaned it up? There'd be few reasons to use bb10
