Hey guys, from previous crackberry articles describing some new features in OS 10.2, it was mentioned that the quick settings would be customizable, with the possibility to add new buttons etc etc...

Unfortunately after installing 10.2.0.1725, I don't see that option!

Was it a misleading info? Or this might come on the first final 10.2 version?

Can anyone with a Z30 maybe confirm?

I'd love to have airplane mode up there

Although I wish they would remove the search in the quick settings and put something else that's more useful. We already have an icon itself and an icon on the bottom bar. See no need for another one

If that pic above is what we are going to receive it's pretty dumb to have a search option in three places: bottom bar, icon, quick settings. That's poor planning.

Customizable is key word, so if you put in a search button, you can only blame yourself

Could it be for "search" settings, and not just to open the search text box and keyboard? Asking as I haven't tried any 10.2 leaks.

Good point. Never tried 10.2 either so not sure. I just hope the look of the pull down menu ends up looking more appealing over time. If the screen shot above is accurate I don't like it at all.

My memory isnt perfect, but I recall seeing that image before as someone's mock-up of what they would have liked a customizable quick settings screen to look like.

Yes, but no mention of a leak. There might be an os coming out with this, or maybe it's just for z30.

So far, we only have tutorials and demos showing this feature. All I know is I don't have it on my z30 and I'm starting to felt left out
