Just curious as I want to make sure I don't lose the info stored in Password keeper but don't like keeping a 2GB+ backup if not needed.
Thanks!

Yes, it definitely is, along with local contacts and account settings (no passwords of the accounts though).

Guess I will just delete a bunch of apps I don't use and make a backup.
Thank you
Password Keeper data is backed up with your settings. Skip app data and just restore settings to restore Password Keeper.

I believe settings.
I just did this.
I backed up everything except for app data.
When I reinstalled password keeper via bbworld, the passwords were still there :)
So it's in settings, not app data.
Confirmed.
Is there any clear description what is backed up where?
Settings, App data...it can be a little confusing for some people
For example me :)
I think all app data is in app data, and settings are under settings.
Lol
It may be a bit tedious, but I also make a hard copy of my passwords. Wrote them in a book.
Have never had an issue with Password Keeper during any restore, even after installing the latest leak. But I have had a harddrive fail. :crying:
If you restore settings on 1767 it has slightly negative impact on the os performance, I just did it last night because I have too many passwords to do manually but I really wish I didn't need to do it.
If you can avoid it don't back up from Link. I see the biggest hit on the contacts app. Not sure why.
I had previously done a migration of PK from my 9930 which seemed cleaner when I did my 1443 leak.might be worth a try if you have time.

Really wish Password Keeper had a print feature or copy all for saving to text.
I never understood why you can't store them on your bbid via BlackBerry protect. Small file and encrypted.

Remember data is also in settings.

I'm not entirely sure that it isn't in some sense

New 10.2 APIs support apps doing this. So I'm assuming BlackBerry will make use of it themselves.

Pops up for me of I drag my finger down on the main screen.
Have a good day.
