I have the Q10 and whenever I send a text message with the letter ñ, the person that receives the message they just see this symbol }
Any idea why?

I can only assume your Q10 is not set to use special characters on SMS

EDIT:

Try this: HUB > Overflow (the three dots) > Text messages > Advanced (this may be tricky, it is at the very bottom of that screen) > Enable special characters.

OR the recipient's phone cannot display the character/s ...

might be good to know WHO among your recipients is having trouble and what phone/s they're using.
That'll give you a clue about what kind of answers to look for.

I did enable the special characters and still have the same problem. The people I tried they have Sprint, Tmobile and Verizon services. All of them have Android phones. The thing is when I send texts messages I see the letter ñ in my Q10. Also when I send a message vie WhatsApp the can see the letter.

Okay I found out that is not the Q10's fault. I tried the sim card with my old SG3 and people can't see the letter ñ either!
The AT&T network must have the problem not encoding properly this letter.
