I need to get rid of a phone and want to log out of my BlackBerry world account, but I can only do it through security wiping it.

1.Will this delete everything (browser history, accounts, social network accounts, pictures, music, videos, and basically everything)?

    2. What are the chances of bricking my phone or ruining with security wipes? It's happened before with my BlackBerry Q10 phone where it just never get passed the initial setup screen. Searched network for an infinite amount of time.

    3. I know that in BlackBerry link you can restore your phone to a previous OS version. Is this the same thing as security wiping? Is it safer? And why is it almost instantaneously as opposed to security wipes taking hours?

Yes wiping will get rid of everything.

Reloading older version will just run an autoloader, it will also wipe everything, but it's just a simple wipe.

For a truly secure wipe, use security wipe.

If you're on 10.3.2 and plan on selling the phone, make sure to disable blackberry protect first.

And also, if it somehow manages to brick, you can just run an autoloader.
