Question about security wiping
I need to get rid of a phone and want to log out of my BlackBerry world account, but I can only do it through security wiping it.
1.Will this delete everything (browser history, accounts, social network accounts, pictures, music, videos, and basically everything)?
2. What are the chances of bricking my phone or ruining with security wipes? It's happened before with my BlackBerry Q10 phone where it just never get passed the initial setup screen. Searched network for an infinite amount of time.
3. I know that in BlackBerry link you can restore your phone to a previous OS version. Is this the same thing as security wiping? Is it safer? And why is it almost instantaneously as opposed to security wipes taking hours?
