    I'm having a a frustrating problem.

I recently purchased a Tesco Hudl (7" Android Tablet) and I thought it would be neat to use my Q10 for connecting it to the internet via Mobile Hotspot if I'm out and about. The Hudl finds my Hotspot no problem, but then it wont connect fully, and the Hudl shows an empty WIFI signal indicator. The status of the connection on the Hudl says 'Saved, secured with WPA2' instead of 'connected' as it does with my home wifi. I can keep clicking on it (on Hudl) and choosing connect as many times as I want but nothing changes, it does not actually connect to the Q10 hotspot properly.

I have tried restarting my blackberry, changing the hotspot password to no avail.

The advanced options for wifi connection are fairly limited on both the Q10 and the Hudl so I'm a bit stuck.

I have searched the internet for anyone with a similar problem and found no results at all. Any tech experts here know how I can fix this? Or have any ideas about something I could try at least?

    Cheers!

OK one last attempt at getting some help. This will be my second and final bump! Then I think I'll just have to resign myself to the fact I won't be able to use mobile hotspot with my tablet :-(

That's interesting, thanks for mentioning. I hope we find an answer in the end, although the outlook seems bleak judging by the lack of responses to this post.

    Hi,

Hudl2 is a great piece of kit at the price. I bought one within 10 minutes of them coming into my local Tesco.

Same problem as you and feeling glum until a night's sleep refreshed my mind and I remembered Bluetooth tethering. If your requirement is for a single device to connect, check it out. You have to enable a couple of things on each device as well as the bluetooth but they are in the same part of the menu structure - if you can't find them Iet me know. Worked a TREAT for me this morning. Andrew

Did you get a solution to this?

I have exactly the same problem, the Hudl finds the blackberry hotspot but wont connect, yet the Hudl will connect to other wifi and other wifi devices will connect to the blackberry

    thanks
