    Pressing volume keys up/down

    All this now does is take photo and does not restart handset

    Has anyone came across this, and if so is there a way to overcome this?

    You need to keep pressing the up down buttons for at least 30 sec. Yes it will take a ss first, but just keep pressing them, and it will reboot.
