Was curious if putting in my Orange France SIM would allow me to see a 10.2 update as available. Phone said no. My 10.1.4000 was still the latest available. I tried it on wifi only and while roaming on AT&T with Orange SIM.

I wonder if it's because my Orange SIM is a prepaid (with no money on it), Orange hasn't upgraded to 10.2, or who knows?

On a factory unlocked Z10.

No idea. I'd go with Sachesi and load 10.2.0.1803 though.

OS releases from Sachesi come directly from carriers, therefore are not leaks.

Only situations I can think of for a SIM card not finding an update:

• Carrier has not released said version;
• Carrier does not support said device model (STL-100-1 vs STL-100-2, etc)

Carrier is from Europe that must be it. Then use a different Z10 model there.

Sure. His cousin did not get an update notification, so the check up date page told him he had the most current OS loaded for whichever carrier he was on.

What device? What model number? What network is he on? Where is he located? What network's SIM did he put in?
