Hey Guys,

I'm trying to connect my Microsoft Outlook work account on my Z10 but cant seem to get it to work. The following steps im doing:

1) Add Email Account
2) Click on Advanced
3) Choose Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
4) Fill in the domain, username, email address, password and server address
5) Get the following error: The server (https://xxxx.ca) for account ([email protected]) is not responding. The server name in your account settings might be incorrect or the server might be temporarily offline.

Any ideas? And yes all my information entered is correct

Has your IT group been informed? More than likely they will have to add your device to their servers so that it can connect.

No I havent since it goes against policy. But I was able to set it up on my 9900 but doesnt seem to be working on the Z10

Interesting that you were able to do it before. I have never been able to get mine to hook with work accounts.

If you 9900 was working on a BES it won't work on Z10 unless they upgrade it. And if you're now trying to use active sync they have to turn it on for your account. If you weren't on a BES with 9900 then I'm not sure how it was working. Perhaps on BIS which I don't know much about.
