    I realize we're in the stone age here but for sake of not suffering any unexpected problems, etc. not using autoloaders/leaks, any tricks, etc. just going with carrier-provided (AT&T) updates.

    This is on my g/f's Z10, we've been putting off updating the OS since mine suffered contacts issues. Figured it was time to bite the bullet though and update. She's currently 10.1.whatever (the OS that shipped on the Z10), AT&T has 10.2.1.2179 as the only update they've rolled out so far.

    She got the notification through Hub a long time ago but didn't act on it. I plugged the phone in to my PC and let Link fire up, Link says the update is available for 10.2.1.2179. I do a full backup of the phone and then go to select update. Link wants to install a new Link component before it will do the update. (I did my own Z10 OTA months ago.) I let Link update itself, reboot, plug the phone back in and it says...we have the most current software available.

    Try unplugging the phone and going straight into OS settings, check for update, most current software available. WTH???

    The phone is still at 10.1, claiming it's current.

    Try hooking up to link with the sim out, or try a hard reset might even help.
