    I don't remember since when; but now whenever I open the Youtube app on the homescreen it takes me to the desktop version of Youtube webpage instead, and I have to tap 'redirect me to the mobile site' to get to the mobile version. Any advice?

    Clear your browser cache and of course, make sure you don't have desktop mode enabled.

    Or you can just simple click mobile version below the screen when in desktop mode of youtube. )
    Don't forget to turn off desktop mode also. )
