    Hey all,

What is more secure, home wifi or LTE using a BB10 phone? Also, being a non-company user, is there really a need to use a proxy, or is everything already encrypted through Blackberry servers normally?

Thanks, I would love to hear a debate, and some input about this.

    Secure how?
Either your ISP or your carrier will be able to see your traffic, if that's what you mean.
Using a proxy is actually less safe, because it adds one more person who can collect your data.

Nothing goes through BlackBerry servers except for BBM traffic.

Security is only depending on whatever the phone (email account or browser) or 3. part app has negotiated with the remote server.

Proxy never adds privacy but it may optionally (if installed / configured) scan web traffic for malicious content.

In general I would consider LTE a bit more difficult to wiretap whereas WiFi may be attempted by anyone with a computer.
