In many ways, it was redundant with Blend. Still, it was a great solution for the PlayBook and BB10 from a computer that didn't have any other BlackBerry software on it.

How was it redundant with Blend?

You didn't need a different method to transfer files to your handset from a PC.

I think you have this bit backwards:
You didn't need a different method to transfer files to your handset from a PC.
In this case, Blend is the "different method" and while Blend is a great tool in many ways, it was significantly more steps to save a file and navigate through not only the file system on the computer, but on the phone as well as you transfer it from the PC to the phone.

Print To Go simplified things greatly - you have a file open on the PC and can quickly send it to the phone via a simple "print" command.

I would say that was one of my most used apps. It worked amazing as when I'm on the laptop, get a file emailed to me....PTG and it was suddenly on my device.

    Strange.
When I try to print from Windows to Print To Go, the little window that pops up that loads the sign in page just goes to... oh hell, here's a screenshot:

Used to happen to me. It's specifically from a Windows Update problem. Search these forums or just Google around for it. When you find the update number that causes it all you will have to do is uninstall the update and reboot and you'll be back in business.
