Does anyone know if it is possible to run your phone on an older os build, say for example you managed to acquire an brand new phone from the early days.

Are you still able to run the current apps like password keeper, etc or do the current apps require current os builds?

Like the old password keeper never had cloud synch while the newer one does.

no the current version of the apps will not work on the older OS. If it didn't exists back then, you can't use the apps from now. They require a different OS.

So if you downgraded down to 10.2.1, none of the built in apps would work?! That doesn't seem right...

I've got a Z30 still running 10.2.1 and can confirm that it functions quite well.

I like looking back at it and actually realizing how it isn't much different from 10.3.3.

I never used BlackBerry 10 prior to 10.2 so I'm definitely not an expert.

You can't downgrade. All you can do is try to find a device that doesn't already have 10.3.2 or 10.3.3 installed.
