    My Passport has been giving me intermittent problems over the last week or so. I decided to decrypt my device to see whether that would eliminate the problem as they started occurring around the same time as I encrypted it and the memory card.

    At present I have very little data on either; the device has 3.5GB and the memory card has just over 300MB. The encryption process took less than two minutes to complete. I am now into my second attempt at decryption and both times the process has been running for more than 14 hours. Is this normal or has something gone wrong? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
