Porsche P9983 Autoloader available??

Asked: Sep 20 2014 | 2:40 pm EDT 17219 Views 38 Answers View Best Answer

Is there a perfect working autoloader of Porsche p9983 available or should I wait till 24?? I tried all the leaks till now released since 2 weeks back and now back to 10.2.1 coz I dint find a leak which is perfect for my Q10. And I also feel battery level in 10.2.1 have come down after I tried leaks...
Can anybody link me the best porsche autoloader for my q10 and clear my doubt on battery?

Why don't you make it yourself? Use Darcy's Tools for this

EDIT: oops wasn't reading carefully enough. Maybe you could try to autoload and no restore to see if it fix the battery bug

Really? O.o so .1154 isn't a beta OS... I thought porsche model could have a new version of 10.3, official, stable and optimized for all BB10 devices, as we have same hardware specs.

Porsche phones are for people who don't care about that

Anyway, as has been said, the P9983 is 99% a Q10, so the OS is compatible with our devices. Not that it matters, since new enough Sachesi versions can download for any device when given a country/carrier pair.

I had tried various leaks all these while even 1154...had lot of problems too....but since porsche OS is complete and from BlackBerry, it would be the best using the same os than all those leaks right?
Last time when I reload back to 10.2.1, the hope I had in my mind is would do the OS from porsche next time. Hardly waiting for it. Can anybody make the best rip from porsche os for us, q10 users?

How come you now reverting back to 10.2.1?

So that means, when you opened the box and switched on the phone, it was running 10.2.1 and then you installed a 10.3 leak and found it unusable for you?

Well because no one has the device yet, no autoloader was created. You could do it.
Just download the debrick file and radio file from sachesi and then create the autoloader with the two files using latest Darcy BB Tools

I have never created it and used sachesi but autoloader....have seen many posts here, its easy...but never tried it...always wait for the autoloader to be submitted by some experts so that I can rely on it
Hope somebody with the device does it soon

Posted via CB10
Likely because the OS isn't been optimized for the current devices.

No, as the SW/HW is same as Q10. The P'9983 will likely be have same problems (if any). And as Thurask said

Nobody has the device yet, shipping early October if memory serves, so whatever is out there is still beta. The main os10.3 release, blend info etc will be this week with passport release, and with that I would assume an updated and more production ready10.3 would show on the BlackBerry servers for those 2 devices.

Mmm....hope it doesnt have any probs....dont know...maybe you are right....but still I would like to personally experience it and make sure about it if somebody with device make a autoloader for us...have never seen Porsche clock in person too...just like I read in some posts, many z10 was able to get it from the sucked out autoloader, I wish the same (Also read the same backdoor which used to work doesnt work anymore !! ) but, whatever, I still hope for it and guess hope is something which drives our life daily
If anybody can or anybody come across the porsche edition Q10 OS, please let me know
Thanks for the replies

I do not have many complaints about Software Release 10.3.0.738 (OS 10.3.0.1154 + Radio 10.3.0.1155) on my Q10 and Q5.

Both Darcy's BlackBerry Tools and Sachesi send queries to a production server of BlackBerry Limited in order to locate (and download) updated device software. Please note that, for P'9983 (formerly known as Khan), a debrick OS (core OS + all apps) (common to all qc8960-driven devices) and a radio (for Q5 / Q10) are displayed in search results.

Not many means it does have right?? That is what I was talking about....and also about notification volume...that is obviously a deal breaker for me....really thanks for the pain you took for screenshots...but I think the good baked OS will be available once p9983 is in somebodys hands after the release...

I do not have any issue with notification volume, which I have set very low.

According to photos quoted below, P'9983 displayed at the launch event was loaded with an older 10.3 OS (which does not yet exist on the production server of BlackBerry Limited).

I agree that volume for ringtones is a bit low. Also, why would they release a 10.3.xxx with this? Considering. 3.xxxx is for passport? Also, some files should be diff even if it is the same os everyone has already. Hence the porsche clock. Should be able to get the clock going on a Qx etx correct?

All OS files and app files (except for carrier-specific apps) have been commonly shared among Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM 8960-driven devices (Q5, Q10, Z3, Z30, Z10 . . . excluding OMAP 4470-driven STL100-1) up until 10.2.1.xxxx, I suppose. (Z3 is driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM 8930, to be precise.)

Hence the porsche clock. Should be able to get the clock going on a Qx etx correct?
P'9982 (Z10 in Porsche outfit) has been sharing the same clock .bar file with the other devices but P'9982 owners may choose Porsche-designed analog / digital faces in their clock app. (sys.clock-11.20.1.41.bar had a fostah back door for Z10 owners to activate Porsche-designed analog / digital faces in their clock app.)

It's all exactly the same no matter what device you have. The difference is the clock bar figures out what phone you have. Each device has its own device id so it's easy. If up have a porsche design phone it enables the options for the porsche clock.

Simple as that.

I'm happy with latest leaked beta myself, run on mine, my wifes and popped on a few user devices at the office I manage to see if they even notice, but yes a few niggles that should be resolved before larger rollout once the new devices are actually shipping. It's only a week or two, not that big a wait in my mind.
