Have you entered the correct pop server address? Has it changed and you haven't updated it?

    Delete the account
    Restart the phone
    Add account

Also POP can be tricky. See if you can use IMAP.

What doesn't work? Send? Receive? Both? Or can you send but the messages don't get delivered?

Bb10 will have a "not connected " flag for accounts where the server can't be reached.

I would first check with my e-mail provider's tech support. Perhaps their side causes your issue.

Well, if it stopped working.... then we assume it was working! If you can delete the account and re-integrate (for you hardcore BlackBerry users) then BlackBerry is hitting the server without an issue.

Check the nut behind the keyboard ;-)

So you POP from 2 clients, phone and laptop ? You know that, when you fetch an email from the server, you also delete it, right ? So, that's a race between your 2 devices...

The deal with tech support is they can look at the mail log. I suspect he has the wrong ports. I'd the poster could send but not receive, I'm willing to do private messaging and look at my mail server log.

I don't know why people think email is simple. Setting up an email server is way more complicated than setting up a web server.

I find it hard to believe there are vendors in 2016 that don't support imap, but who knows. Bb10 handles imap so nicely. I push the sync time to four hours because it never has a sync problem. That saves battery life.

Unless you upload snapshots of what you are entering, there is nothing else the list can suggest. You simply aren't providing enough information.
